WoW Forever Assassination Rogue Leveling Build
Use a step-by-step Assassination Rogue leveling allocation from Level 10 to 20, with a clear point budget and recovery considerations.
Client data and build assumptions
Client-table preview: positions, rank caps and spell IDs are checked against build 1.60.1.69913. These readable tables may retain legacy layout. Five points per tier, full-rank prerequisites and the 11-point Level 20 budget are planning assumptions, not proof of final live Beta rules. Missing rank text stays unknown.

Critical strikes and finishing moves
- Malice anchors the opening tier. Ruthlessness and Improved Slice and Dice then build a finisher-focused route before Relentless Strikes becomes the eleven-point endpoint.
- Compare several complete combo-point cycles, keeping weapon, target level and finishing move consistent.
Derived planning assumption. Talent positions and ranks remain client data; this allocation is editorial only.

Leveling with Assassination
This route spends on the repeated combo-point cycle. Test it on enemies that survive long enough for a finishing move; very short pulls may conceal the value of the later investment.
It gives up early Combat hit support and the Subtlety stealth package. A strong opener alone is not a fair test of this route.
Level 10–20 progression
Malice 5 → Ruthlessness 3 → Improved Slice and Dice 2 → Relentless Strikes 1
Follow the allocation in order rather than buying the endpoint first. The table-based planner checks the earlier investment before allowing deeper nodes.
Before switching routes
Compare several complete combo-point cycles, keeping weapon, target level and finishing move consistent.
Save the baseline link and change only the variable you want to compare. Keep equipment, target level and recovery conditions in your notes so a talent change is not credited for an unrelated improvement.
