WoW Forever Balance vs Feral Druid Leveling
Compare ranged casting with form-based melee without hiding recovery and form-switch costs.
Client data and build assumptions
Client-table preview: positions, rank caps and spell IDs are checked against build 1.60.1.69913. These readable tables may retain legacy layout. Five points per tier, full-rank prerequisites and the 11-point Level 20 budget are planning assumptions, not proof of final live Beta rules. Missing rank text stays unknown.

Form-based melee and tank testing
- Ferocity and Feral Instinct complete the first ten points. Feral Charge (Bear) is the client-labelled endpoint for this route; it is not a promise that all forms share the same ability.
- Track whether the form and role of the encounter actually make use of the selected talents.
Derived planning assumption. Talent positions and ranks remain client data; this allocation is editorial only.

Two different leveling loops
Balance invests in Wrath, Moonfire and Nature's Reach. Feral invests in Ferocity, Feral Instinct and a Bear-specific endpoint. The final point is a role choice, not a universal damage comparison.
Choose the comparison that matches your session
For open-world pulls, include recovery and travel between enemies. For frequent dungeon groups, compare the tank or healing route according to the role you are actually filling.
WoW Forever Balance vs Feral Druid Leveling comparison
| WoW Forever Balance vs Feral Druid Leveling | Balance | Feral |
|---|---|---|
| Testing role | Ranged spell leveling | Form-based melee and tank testing |
| Main trade-off | The route does not invest in Feral resource use or Restoration healing. A late-tree transformation is outside this eleven-point example. | This route gives up early Balance casting and Restoration recovery choices. The Bear endpoint should not be described as an unconditional Cat damage gain. |
| What to measure | Record distance, cast interruptions and recovery alongside damage. | Track whether the form and role of the encounter actually make use of the selected talents. |
